GNU Backgammon

GNU Backgammon is a multiplatform, open source, digital version of the classic board game that makes it possible to learn its rules and compete against the computer or another person.

Its advanced artificial intelligence allows you to measure up to any type of player. It even competes for you, only on dedicated servers like FIBS, achieving a noteworthy rank!

GNU Backgammon’s interface can be in either 2D or 3D, and either choice will not effect its performance. The board’s appearance can also be modified with the Appearance option in the Configuration menu.

GNU Backgammon also includes every type of tool needed to analyze the games, as well as a History function that allows you to review your moves made during the game.
